Refund Summary
GigPulse offers refunds for one (1) month of subscription fees only, minus applicable payment processing fees. Refunds must be requested within 14 days of the charge. Please read the full policy below for details.
1. Overview
This Refund Policy ("Policy") governs refund requests for GigPulse subscription services. By subscribing to GigPulse, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
GigPulse is operated as a sole proprietorship under the laws of British Columbia, Canada. This Policy is designed to be fair to both our users and our business while complying with Canadian consumer protection laws.
We encourage all users to take advantage of our 14-day free trial to evaluate the Service before subscribing.
2. Refund Eligibility
2.1 What We Refund
You may be eligible for a refund if:
- You request a refund within fourteen (14) days of the charge date
- This is your first refund request for a GigPulse subscription
- You have not previously received a refund for GigPulse services
2.2 Refund Amount
Eligible refunds will be processed for one (1) month of subscription fees only, calculated as follows:
Refund Amount = $12.99 CAD − Payment Processing Fees
Payment processing fees are typically 2.9% + $0.30 CAD per transaction (charged by Stripe).
Estimated refund: approximately $12.31 CAD
2.3 Refund Limitations
- Refunds are limited to the most recent billing cycle only
- No refunds are provided for previous months or historical charges
- No partial-month refunds are available
- Each user is entitled to a maximum of one (1) refund during their lifetime use of the Service
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be provided in the following situations:
- Requests made more than 14 days after the charge date
- Requests for refunds of more than one month of subscription fees
- Users who have previously received a refund for GigPulse services
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
- Chargebacks or disputes filed with your bank or credit card company without first contacting us
- Dissatisfaction with tax calculations or estimates (see disclaimer below)
- Service interruptions or outages caused by third-party providers (Supabase, Stripe, Vercel)
- Failure to cancel before automatic renewal
- Change of mind after the 14-day refund window
TAX CALCULATION DISCLAIMER
GigPulse provides estimated tax calculations for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any calculations. Dissatisfaction with tax estimates, deduction calculations, or any financial information provided by the Service is NOT grounds for a refund. You are responsible for verifying all information with a qualified tax professional.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Cancel your subscription first: Go to Settings → Account → Cancel Subscription. You must cancel your subscription before requesting a refund.
- Email us: Send a refund request to heinrichstyler993@gmail.com with the following information:
- Subject line: "Refund Request - [Your Email Address]"
- The email address associated with your GigPulse account
- Date of the charge you are requesting a refund for
- Brief reason for the refund request (optional but helpful)
- Wait for confirmation: We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
4.2 Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
5. Chargebacks and Disputes
We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before filing a chargeback or dispute with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.
CHARGEBACK NOTICE
If you file a chargeback or dispute with your bank without first contacting us and giving us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately terminate your account and access to the Service
- Deny any future refund requests
- Dispute the chargeback with your bank, providing evidence of service delivery and these Terms
- Pursue collection of any amounts owed, including chargeback fees
6. Free Trial
GigPulse offers a 14-day free trial with access to core features (limited to 75 orders). We strongly encourage you to use the free trial to evaluate whether the Service meets your needs before subscribing.
No payment is charged during the free trial period. Your subscription will automatically begin, and your payment method will be charged, at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.
By starting a free trial and providing payment information, you acknowledge and agree to be charged at the end of the trial period if you do not cancel.
7. Cancellation vs. Refund
Please note the difference between cancellation and refund:
Cancellation
- • Stops future billing
- • Retains access until end of current period
- • No refund for unused time
- • Can be done anytime in Settings
Refund
- • Returns payment for current period
- • Must be requested within 14 days
- • Limited to one month, minus fees
- • One-time only per user
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
9. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions in our Terms of Service.
